Rani…. The entertainment was top drawer. I particularly liked the set with you as DJ, the acoustic guitar and the keyboard player with the accordion. The music created was mystical. I met Rani several years ago at one of my favorite bars called Mabel's on Main, when he was the music director and had his residency there. I picked up on his selections right away and continued to go there... religiously for the music. House, hip hop, disco, funk, even special remixes of Sade... I recall going up to him every weekend, giving him proper respect. He is not a follower when it comes to style, especially his taste in music.
